Rose hips, or "rose haw," are the tart-tasting fruits of wild roses, and they pack a punch of Vitamin C! During WWII, Britain's government utilized them to whip up syrups in lieu of citrus fruits. Today, many enjoy them in tea, jellies, jams, soups, and even oils.

Size

Herbs are legally sold by the ounce but often we get asked how many cups are in a bag.

This herb has an approximate average of 3 cups per pound.

Mix organic rose hips with elderberry when concocting rose hip syrups, teas, and tinctures. Elderberries are perfect for pie, jam, tea, syrups, AND cordials (yum!). We also love pairing rose hips with organic hibiscus and alma berries!

Store in an airtight container away from temperature extremes and sunlight.

Berries / Fruit

If taking Warfarin, cancer medications, or antacids please consult your physician before using rose hips in larger than food amounts. Drug contraindications listed here: https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-839/rose-hip

I made Elderberry / Rose Hip syrup.

My allergies are kicking. Even when I control the drainage, I am still coughing. I read the benefits of an elderberry/rose hip syrup and made some using this rose hip tea. The results were amazing. The taste was great, and my control of the cough was just about instant.

Our family's top # 1 remedy!

I am so pleased with the quality of these rose hips! My toddlers really like to drink this tea even with no sugar. You can feel its potency right when you drink it! Even after using them as a tea the rose hips produce some wonderful type of honey-syrup by themselves.
I like to use it all, so after making a tea I like to blend them with water and honey and drink it for even additional benefits.
