Fizzy Vodka Rose Cocktail

Ingredients:

Rose Syrup

  • ¼ cup Rose Garden Repose Tea
  • 12 oz water
  • ½ cup sugar

Cocktail - makes 1 cocktail

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz rose syrup
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • Sparkling water
  • Ice

Directions:

  1. Make the rose tea by combining the loose rose tea and water into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to simmer for about 10 minutes until the mixture reduces by a ¼. Strain the tea leaves and return the steeped tea to the pot over medium-low heat. Add the sugar and bring to a light simmer. Once simmering and the sugar is completely dissolved, set aside to cool.
  2. To make the cocktail, combine the vodka, rose syrup, and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice and shake vigorously until chilled. Pour into a serving glass filled with ice and top with sparkling water.

Note: make this cocktail even fancier by freezing some of the loose tea into an ice cube tray with water.

Light and simple

If you don't like strong flavors this tea is for you. It was a very very lightly floral tea. Simple. But so pretty. We enjoyed it.

love this tea!

My daughter and husband live this tea! They both have trouble winding down and getting to sleep and this tea works wonders, gently easing them into sleep and helping them get a better quality sleep during the night. I ran out a few weeks ago and there was very nearly a mutiny in the house! Never again! This is a permanent staple in my pantry!

better than any boxed tea!

This tea is the best chamomile tea I have ever tasted. The floral flavor is wonderful and so much better than any boxed tea! One can taste how fresh it is. The tea looks as pretty as the online photo too!
