Hops (Humulus lupulus) are widely used in beer production, a practice dating back centuries. Home brewers today use them for beer or tea. Infuse in water or tincture in alcohol for hair and skin care. Combine with other herbs to create tasty custom tea blends. Hops may also be tincture with other herbs like dandelion root to make bitters. Whole hops are also commonly turned into herbal pillows to promote restful sleep.

This year I've been being more adventurous with trying different teas. Hadn't been sleeping well of late, and decided to try hops tea to see if it would help relax me before bedtime. It is quite bitter, but slowly sipping on a cup for about a half hour did help me relax and stop all the whirling thoughts in my head that usually keeps me awake. Licorice is one of my favorite candies. But if it's not your thing, you won't like this tea. I find it comforting to drink vs actually licorice which goes straight to my hips. 😉

Sugar Bush Blueberry is my new favorite! I’ve been on the hunt for a new flavor to replace my summer time sweet tea and this is it! I love it hot and cold! Farmhouse Teas has opened my tastebuds to what teas is supposed to taste like!
I can't stop looking at these teas, let alone drinking them! My favorite so far is Coastal Cranberry Spice. I do enjoy the Harvest Berry but think I need to double the amount next time for more flavor. I've told all my friends about these and see much more in my future :)
